Shure QLXD2/B87A Digital Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter with Beta 87A Capsule (H50: 534 to 598 MHz)

Shure QLXD2/B87A Digital Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter with Beta 87A Capsule (H50: 534 to 598 MHz) This digital UHF handheld wireless microphone transmitter pairs a Shure Beta 87A condenser capsule with a QLXD2 transmitter body, operating in the H50 frequency band from 534 to 598 MHz. The system provides a maximum operating range of 330 feet and delivers audio with less than 2.9 ms of latency, making it a complete handheld transmission solution for live sound reinforcement.

Beta 87A Supercardioid Condenser Capsule

The included Beta 87A capsule features a supercardioid polar pattern, which focuses sound pickup on the primary audio source while reducing ambient noise from the sides. Its frequency response spans 50 Hz to 20 kHz, with a maximum SPL of 140.5 dB and a sensitivity rating of -52.5 dBV/Pa. The capsule is interchangeable, allowing the transmitter body to be paired with alternative microphone capsules as needed.

Digital UHF Transmission and Frequency Agility

Operating across the H50 band from 534 to 598 MHz, this transmitter offers access to 2560 selectable RF channel frequencies. The digital UHF wireless technology provides a maximum operating range of 330 feet, while the sub-2.9 ms latency ensures synchronized audio delivery. RF output power is selectable between 1 mW and 10 mW, and the removable 1/4 wave external antenna supports flexible setup configurations.

AES 256 Encryption for Secure Transmission

The transmitter incorporates AES 256 encryption to secure wireless audio signals. This advanced encryption standard helps protect transmitted audio from unauthorized interception, making the system suitable for applications where signal privacy is a priority.
