The S2 Alphorn Is Built to Be Seen
At 2.7kg and 250mm across, it's the biggest portable Bluetooth speaker in the UB+ lineup, and it looks like it. This isn't something you toss in a backpack. It sits on its own wooden tripod, more like a piece of furniture than a gadget you hide when guests come over.
The Shape Does the Work
Four drivers, two 4-inch woofers and two 1.5-inch tweeters, sit inside a spherical enclosure. That's not just a design flourish. A sphere radiates sound evenly in every direction, so the bass and clarity hold up no matter where you're standing in the room. Output runs 22W per channel, and frequency response stretches from 38Hz up to 20kHz, low enough to feel the bass, not just hear it.
A Stand That's Part of the Design
This is where the Alphorn separates itself from the rest of the UB+ range. It ships with a three-section wooden tripod, available in walnut or beech depending on the finish, adjustable to whatever height the room calls for. Nothing else in the lineup comes with this. It's less an accessory and more the reason this portable Bluetooth speaker looks the way it does.

The UB+ SEEK app puts EQ, bass, and treble control in your hands, so you're tuning the sound instead of settling for one fixed profile. Pair two units over TWS for real left/right stereo, and latency holds at 75ms, tight enough to keep video in sync.
Runs All Day, Charges Fast Enough
Three 2500mAh cells add up to 16 hours of playback, so this portable Bluetooth speaker keeps going long after the party does. A full charge over USB-C takes four to eight hours, and Bluetooth 5.3 keeps the connection steady without the dropouts that plague cheaper speakers.
