Overview

The VideoMic GO II features the same revolutionary annular line tube design as the VideoMic NTG and NTG5, which offers unmatched transparency and a natural sound. Supported in a detachable Rycote shock-mount with extremely convenient cable management.

As you will see below, the VideoMic GO II offers the same plug-in-powered battery-free operation as the original VideoMic GO, but also adds amazing USB digital functionality.

The world’s first USB microphone also able to operate on plug-in power.

On-camera microphone

The VideoMic GO II is an ultra-lightweight and versatile shotgun microphone for capturing incredible audio with a camera. In addition to being incredibly compact and lightweight, the VideoMic GO II is super simple to use and requires no batteries to operate.

Fully featured USB microphone with built-in DSP

The supremely versatile connectivity of the VideoMic GO II allows full functionality as a USB microphone, where the 3.5mm output will act as a powerful headphone output. Introducing the next microphone for RØDE Connect, allowing up to four microphones to be plugged into one computer with optimized DSP — compressor, noise gate and the legendary Aural Exciter and Big Bottom.

Complete compatibility with mobile devices and unlocked digital control

Connection through the USB-C output is certified for direct use with iOS and Android devices, with supporting cables specifically designed with optimal cable management. Without the requirement of additional adapters. Compatibility with RØDE Central and Reporter unlock additional features in the microphone such as a high-pass filter, -20dB pad and a windshield compensation.
