Overview

About Amaran Lantern
The Lantern for F21 is a lightweight omnidirectional soft light modifier for the amaran F21x and F21c flexible LED lights. Featuring a simple hook-and-loop design, the Lantern for F21 provides a soft volumetric overhead lighting solution to instantly light up large spaces when used as an ambient fill light, while allowing for fast setups and tear-downs.
With the included 2.5 stop diffusion cloth, the Lantern for F21 transforms the amaran F21x or F21c into a dome-shaped diffusion that softens the fixture's light output while minimizing light loss.
The directionality of the Lantern for F21 can also be altered with the included fully adjustable removable hoop-and-loop fabric light control skirt. The skirt covers all four edges of the lantern and can be rolled independently to maximize control over the fixture's directionality and to eliminate light spill.
Featuring a lightweight construction (723g / 1.59lbs), the Lantern for F21 can simply be attached to the amaran F21x or F21c flexible light and eliminates the need to rebalance the fixture set up or the need for heavy stands and lighting grids for additional support. And with its compact size, the Lantern for F21 takes up less space compared to traditional lantern diffusers.
The Lantern for F21 is ideal for filmmakers and content creators who want to use the amaran F21x or F21c flexible lights as a soft, omnidirectional light source in overhead lighting scenarios or to easily reshape the fixture's output.
With the included adjustable hook-and-loop light control skirt, creators can quickly and precisely shape the output of the flexible light to be as directional or omnidirectional as needed.
Its portable and lightweight construction is a major benefit for users looking for a modifier that is easy to set up, especially in scenarios involving rigging fixtures above people. And with its included carrying bag, the portable Lantern for F21 can be easily transported to your next set or location.
